16-Quart Aluminum Pressure Cooker Canner

Pressure canners, such as the 01755 model, can also be used as water bath canners for preserving various foods like fruits, jams, jellies, pickles, and salsas. Pressure canning is the USDA's recommended method for safely preserving low-acid foods like vegetables, meats, and fish. The gauge on the cooker registers a full range of processing pressures automatically.

The air vent and cover lock mechanism only allow pressure to build up when the cover is closed correctly, preventing it from opening until the pressure has been safely reduced. These canners are made of strong, warp-resistant aluminum and are suitable for use on regular and smooth-top ranges. Each cooker comes with a cooking/canning rack and a comprehensive instruction and recipe book.

You can store up to 12 half-pints, 10 pints, or 7 quarts in Mason jars with this 16-quart cooker. The liquid capacity is 16 quarts (15.1 liters). *Note: Pints and half pints can only be used with the water bath method.
