Pressure Cooker Sealing Ring/Overpressure Plug Pack by Presto

The pressure cooker sealing ring is designed to fit snugly around the inside rim of the cover, creating a tight seal between the cover and the body of the pressure cooker while cooking or canning. To install the sealing ring, it is recommended to work it into the cover in four small sections, such as the top, bottom, left, and right sides. Gradually work each section into the groove until the ring is fully in place. Once installed, place the cover onto the pressure cooker body and firmly press down on the top center with one hand. To ensure a proper seal, open and close the cover several times.

This sealing ring is equipped with an automatic air-vent, making it easy and convenient to use. Manufactured in China, this product includes an overpressure plug and can replace Presto parts 09904 and 50295. It is specifically designed to form a pressure-tight seal between the cover and the body of Presto pressure cookers.
